DESIGN PORTFOLIO
Fight Stick
Modeled after the HIT BOX by Hit Box Arcade, this fight pad was re-designed with interchangeable control panels and runs on a Brook Zero-Pi Fighting Board.
It was fabricated at the Boise State Engineering Innovation Studio.
IronPine Idaho Axehead
See the Axe Head here!
This was developed by the team at the New Product Development Lab for the Iron Pine Brand (Maria Lopez). My role involved designing and fabricating silicone mold that was used for the first market test run of 50 axe heads. The process consisted pouring wax into the mold, post processing surface defects, and sending to a foundry for investment casting.
Bicycle Safety System
The Bicycle Safety System (BSS) was developed as a final project for my Introduction to Mechatronics class.
This was made in collaboration with two peers, Maddie Cudworth and Charlotte Jones.
The system runs on a Teensy 4.1 microcontroller and uses an IMU to measure gestures made by the cyclist to trigger electroluminescent wires. The intent of the project is to signal to cars the direction in which the cyclist intends to go during low light situations.
